Six-Pack Muslin Face Cloths

Wash: Machine wash cold.

Dry: Do not tumble dry.

Avoid: Hot washes, which cause shrinkage, plus ironing and fabric softener.

What muslin is

Muslin is cotton woven loosely, so the threads leave small open spaces between them. That open weave is what makes it feel light and airy, and it is why muslin has been used for sleepwear and baby cloths for a very long time.

Why we use it

• Airy: air moves through the open weave, so it suits warm nights.
• Light: it drapes softly and never feels heavy on the skin.
• Relaxed texture: the gentle crinkle is part of the fabric, so there is nothing to iron.
